Description
This is an R.F.E. fixed air core coil-inductor, with a calculated maximum inductance of 33.4 uh. (coil itself is 4"
diameter x 4" long x 22 total turns). The inductor is bordered on 4 sides by ceramic bars --- & at both ends
by glazed, white, hefty circular ceramic support plates. The overall length of the complete assembly is about
6-1/2" 4-1/2" high x 4-1/4" wide. It is supported onto a mounting surface by 2 metal "L" brackets. one per
end.

The coil itself consists of edge-wound metal that is 3/16" wide, & is such that it would serve admirably in a
QRO-type tap coil transmatch-antenna tuner, or even as a tapped final pi-tank coil in a linear amplifier.
